Dosage and Feeding
Dosage of Chempure DS 27-S will depend on the quantity of scale and the nature of scale that is present in the equipment. A 10-12% w/w solution of Chempure DS 27-S is generally recommended.
Method of Application
The recommended quantity of Chempure DS 27-S has to be dissolved in water and circulated through the equipment. Connect the tank containing the descaling solution the equipment to be descaled by means of pipes or hoses. Refer following figure. The solution should enter at the lowest point of the equipment and leave from the highest point. This will ensure uniform descaling. The recommended temperature range for efficient descaling is 50–700 C.
Completion of Descaling
A sample of the descaling solution may be withdrawn periodically and tested for acidity or pH. When descaling is complete the acidity / pH will remain constant. If, however the solution shows no acidity / pH>4.0, more CHEMPURE DS 27-S should be added to the descaling solution and the process of descaling continued.

Water Softing and Sequestering Agent
General Product Information
Your process water may contain hardness (Calcium / Magnesium Salts), Iron and trace level of other metallic impurities. Their presence can lead to undesirable effect curding, precipitation, and extra consumption of process chemicals, Dyes. This reflects on product performance in the process and on the end results.
The use of CHEMPURE-570 sequestering agent into the processing abate such interfere and improves process performance. Chempure – 570 is high sequestering value homogeneous liquid in safe & ready to use form.
Presence of calcium, magnesium and specially iron affect the dying shade and fastness of may dyes and shades. Especially under alkaline conditions they precipitate and form scum. Scouring :
Scouring process in textile is used to remove natural oils, wax, grease, soil etc. Due to metallic ions in water they form metallic soaps, which deposit on and fabric and give poor scouring and roughness. To overcome this difficulty use Chempure – 570.

Iron in caustic lye gives yellow tint to the cloth. Use of CHEMPURE-570 will help in overcoming this problem. If the cloth after mercerizing is taken for peroxide boil iron acts as catalyst and thus due to oxidation loss of tensile strength or pinholes are formed in the fabric. Chempure – 570 binds iron from solution making it inactive and ineffective.
Printing
CHEMPURE-570 is useful in pigment printing paste, especially when hard water is used. It prevents precipitation of Calcium, Magnesium and Iron salts and improves quality of prints.
Eroxide Bleach
CHEMPURE-570 0.5 – 1.0 gm/Liter depending upon the hardness of water, when used in peroxide boil it gives superior whiteness to the cloth and also helps in avoiding scale formation.
Dyeing
As you know the presence of trace metals adversely affect shades and fastness of many dyes. Use 0.5 – 1.0 gm/Liter of CHEMPURE – 570 in dyeing of Sulphur colours, Vat dyes, Napthols dyes and direct dyes are very useful in developing brighter and cleaner shade with superior fastness. It is very useful in high temperature, high pressure, beam dyeing and jet dyeing to get brighter and cleaner shade on the fabric. The feel of the fabric is also improved.
